The streets outside were alive with city texture and wonder, but I was hungry. The exterior, bright and vibrant—I entered Roja’s with an appetite.
Inside I was greeted with precision paint and a clean dining room. A refreshingly crisp, welcoming destination.

I love a good butter chicken, and was excited to see they featured a butter chicken combo with pita or naan.

While ordering, I was asked whether I would like naan or fried rice. I’ve been presented with basic basmati rice before at other Indian restaurants. Fried rice was a new concept for me, I selected fried rice. It was pleasantly peppery and buttery, consisting of carrots, corn, peppers, and peas. Rice to mixed-vegetable ratio was perfect, and didn’t intrude upon the experience when enjoyed with curry.

The curry was creamy and absolutely delicious—the best butter chicken I’ve had thus far. Sinking the fried basmati rice and vegetables into the rich depths of curry proved pleasant with every bite. The chicken was wonderful too, well prepared and decently juicy.

Portions were more than generous, yet I managed to clean up completely.

Stopping by Roja’s is a delectible decision I encourage more entertain.
Cherish more moments!
